Five reasons why you should submit an abstract for the Getting Serious about Cardiovascular Disease Prevention conference 2018:

The fifth annual Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) prevention conference hosted by Public Health England is fast approaching. There is now less that one month left until the online portal closes for abstract submission on Sunday 1 October.

Here are a few reasons why you should put forward your work to support the conference theme of Reducing Variation and Optimising Care:

1.    Showcase your work to over 400 delegates from a range of organisations, each working to prevent, detect and manage CVD.

2.    Open up opportunities for partnership working and future collaboration with teams across the country.

3.    Share your innovation and learning which could influence the quality of future work seeking to prevent of CVD.

4.    Begin the discussion about your work with the national leaders for CVD

5.  You will be part of the second largest Public Health England annual conference and there will be an award for the best poster at the conference.

We invite abstracts from local authorities, third sector, academics, NHS and service provider organisations.
