NHS Health Checks Update: How are we doing?

National lead for the NHS Health Check programme, Jamie Waterall and National Clinical advisor for PHE Dr Matt Kearney presented at the UK primary care cardiovascular conference on 15 November 2014.

The conference, issues and answers in cardiovascular disease: making the difference in primary care was hosted by the Primary Care Cardiovascular Journal and the British Journal of Primary Care Nursing 

The slides of Jamie Waterall and Dr Matt Kearney’s presentations set out the rationale for NHS Health Checks, the current evidence for the programme and the work being done to improve standards and delivery.
