Over Treatment And Under Treatment CVD Prevention Conference London


The Royal College of General Practitioners and NHS RightCare are jointly hosting a conference on CVD prevention, which will include a mixture of plenary sessions and small group masterclasses. With guest speakers including Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, Professor David Haslam (tbc), Dr Julian Treadwell and Dr Matt Kearney sharing their perspectives, this conference aims to provide delegates with:


- An exploration of the twin challenges of over treatment and under treatment

- A good understanding of the RightCare approach and how it can improve outcomes

- An opportunity to explore practical solutions and resources to improve quality of care and reduce under and over treatment

- Case studies from GPs and pharmacists showing pragmatic approaches in real world primary care
