World Heart Day 29th October 2016

Heart Age Tool

Working in collaboration with the British Heart Foundation and NHS Choices, PHE has launched a new version of the Heart Age Tool, which includes an improved user journey letting people who use the tool know how their heart age can be reduced based with lifestyle changes.

Action on cardiovascular disease: getting serious about prevention

This publication brings together PHE’s broad-ranging work in addressing cardiovascular disease prevention. Given that cardiovascular disease is the second leading cause of premature death and ill health, PHE sets out key programmes already underway and next steps in tackling cardiovascular disease going forward.
