As part of our efforts to make the shift from analogue to digital, we are developing the NHS Health Check Online, increasing the flexibility of the programme so people can complete it at home at a time more convenient to them. This is currently being tested across a number of LAs and GPs with insights and learnings being used to improve the product before national roll out.

We are currently only able to work with Optum (EMIS) practices. We continue to meet regularly with other GPIT suppliers and have built the technical integrations but are reliant on supplier capacity. We plan to integrate with TPP by March 2027, subject to publication on their roadmap.

Prioritisation of onboarding LAs will be based on geographic spread, number of Optum practices and finally size of eligible population.
